2018 13.5%. Native to southeastern Piedmont, the Timorasso grape was mostly torn out to make way for Cortese planted during the height of Gavi popularity. 48-60 hours of skin contact. A pleasant whiff of matchstick sets the stage for a lush but serious wine that's medium bodied and made for the dinner table (if the dinner table gets supplanted by Adirondack chairs and a long sunset, that's fine too). Peach, green plum, honeydew melon. Great texture and loads of spice and bright citrus notes. Enchanting; pleasantly strange.
