Le Kid d’Arsac Margaux 2018

2018 13.5%. 72% Cabernet Sauvignon, 28% Merlot. The first release of this second label from Chateau d’Arsac. Like a lot of well-made but still relatively affordable left bank Bordeaux, Le Kid is going to feel just a tad light, but then the label tells you that. All the other earmarks are there: a glowing ruby core inside inky garnet, cedar, blackberry and plum, pepper, blood and licorice. Pillowy tannin. Steakhouse elegant.
