Flashing light gold with a hint of green, this well-made Maconnais is raised in 90% stainless and 10% French oak. So, while it probably won't knock your favorite Burgundy off its perch, it's a very pleasant amalgam of fresh and cooked apple, with notes of brown butter, honeysuckle, and acacia. Round but not flabby, nearly sumptuous, clean.
